Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu

Meal: Dinner

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu at Tribhuvan International Airport, complete your custom formalities claim your luggage and head towards the arrival gate where you will be greeted by a representative from Arihant You will be transferred to Hotel Shanker or similar standard hotel. A “Welcome Dinner” will be organized in the evening in a traditional Nepalese Restaurant featuring a Nepalese cultural program.

Day 2 : Kathmandu- Sightseeing and Trek Preparation

Meal: Breakfast

After a delicious breakfast be ready for heritage galore at Kathmandu, which once used to house three ancient cities and is very rich in its cultural heritage. You will have plenty to see of the Newari arts and culture. Sightseeing for the day includes both heritage and pilgrimage spots all of which are counted in UNESCO world heritage sites- Pashupati Nath Temple, Boudha Nath Stupa , Swayambhu Nath , Hanuman dhoka Durbar Square.

Day 3 : Fly to Pokhara &Trek to Ghandruk

Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

After a healthy breakfast you will leave for Pokhara from the domestic terminal of Tribhuvan International Airport. As you land in Pokhara we will drive towards Naya Pool to start the trek. The trek trails through a rough and rocky terrain following the river valley through lovely birch forest and rice terraces. Climb uphill and pass various small villages after crossing the suspension bridges you will reach Ghandruk. The second largest settlement of Gurung people enclosed by terraced fields and magnificent views of Machapuchhre and Annapurna South. Overnight stay at Ghandruk.

(Note:Gurungs are the dominant ethnic group settled in Ghandruk and upper hills of the country. The village architecture holds testimony for their heritage. Gurung practice their ancient Bon religion; however you can find heavy influence of Buddhism and Hinduism. There are shrines, monuments and museums to see if you are interested to know about their cultural heritage. Gurung have their own language, dances, songs, rituals, costumes and ornaments. You may get to observe Rodi- a playful group activity of Gurung youths involving songs, dance and teasing. )

Day 4 : Trek Chhomrong (2170m/7120ft.): 5 hrs

Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

After the scrumptious breakfast your day will begin with a climb of the steep terrain up to Chhomrong. Chhomrong is the highest permanent settlement in the valley, our route here onwards will be strenuous, make sure to carry enough supplies necessary for you. From Chhomrong if you gaze up towards the horizon standing tall like giants above the village are snow clad Annapurna in the south and Hiunchuli and the Machapuchhre across the valley. Soak in the fantastic view of the mighty peaks. You will be staying overnight at a Tea house in Chhomrong.

Day 5 :Chhomrong to Dobhan (2580m/8460ft.): 6 hrs.

Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

After the hearty breakfast, be ready to experience diverse terrain in your trail today. As you cross the rickety suspension bridge that sways on the air your adrenalin will pump when you see roaring rivers underneath. You will march into the forests of bamboo, rhododendron and oak and climb through rocky terrain. After a steep descend over slippery stone staircase you voyage into a forest painted red and pink by the rhododendrons. After crossing few tiny springs you will reach Dobhan, where you will retire for the day.

Day 6 : Dobhan to Deurali (3230m/10,595ft.): 4 hrs.

Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

You trek today will start following a trail that climbs steadily on the side of a canyon through thick bamboo, oak and rhododendron forests above a gushing river. You will cross small bridges over streams and travel through a rocky trail into a tranquil forest filled with the wildlife. Climbing up a steep ravine you will come across Hinku Cave, an overhanging rock followed by large boulders as you near Deurali. You will be staying overnight at Deurali.

Day 7: Deurali to Machapuchhre Base Camp (3700m/12,135ft.): 3-4 hrs.

Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

After a brief walk from Deurali we reach the middle of the river bed surrounded by towering snow-covered mountains. At sunrise the snow shines with the first touch of light and the river valley is flooded with warm sun rays. The canyons created by the hills are pretty spectacular. The trek to Machapuchhre Base Camp is laborious but it is offset by the amazing view of Machapuchhre. Also, the magnificent views of Mt. Hiunchuli (6441m), Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna III and Annapurna make it worth the trip. You will stay overnight at a Tea house in the Machapuchhre Base Camp.

Day 8 : Machapuchhre Base Camp to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m/13,545ft.): 2-3 hrs.

Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

Today onwards as you ascend higher towards Annapurna Base Camp, the vegetation begins to disappear. We follow the trail alongside the stream and climb the mound beside the glacial moraine. You will be greeted by the majestic view of the Annapurna towering above the sanctuary. The base camp area resembles a crater in the moon, with Annapurna standing tall. The view is spectacular. You will retire at Annapurna Base Camp for the day.

Day 9 : Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) to Bamboo (2310m/7575ft.): 6 hrs.

Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

You can savor splendid view as the sun’s rays creeps out from behind the mountains. If you listen carefully you can hear the mountains whisper to you. It is much easier to climb back down the valley. It will take only a day to Bamboo- a picturesque mountain village which is close to Dobhan. You will be staying overnight at Bamboo.

Day 10 : : Bamboo to New Bridge/Jhinu Dada (1760m/5770 ft.): 6 hrs.

Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

We follow the trail from Bamboo village retracing our steps through Chhomrong and descending down to Jhinu Dada. You will reach the quaint village of Jhinu Dada after climbing a treacherous flight of steps. You will spend the night at Jhinu Dada.

Day 11 : Jhinu Dada to Naya Pool to Pokhara Fly back to Kathmandu

Meal: Breakfast

We trek from Jhinu Dada and descend down to Naya Pool. Naya Pool is a small village from where maximum of the Annapurna circuit trek begins. Arrival at Naya Pool signals the end of our trek. Give your feet a rest as you drive down to Pokhara. In the afternoon you will fly back to Kathmandu.

Day 12 : Final Departure

Meal: Breakfast

After the breakfast your journey to the land of the mountains will end. You will check out from the hotel and will be dropped at the airport 3 hours before the scheduled flight. Your plane takes off giving you the spectacular view of the beautiful Himalayas which touched your life and gave you a memory that will last a life time. You leave with a promise to come back again to Mystical Nepal.
